I only agreed to go to a marriage counsellor because I wanted to save our marriage. I did everything right.\u201d<\/p><p><em>Man says to Max (while handing him a bag):<\/em><\/p><p>\u201cThese need to be cleaned.\u201d<\/p><p><em>Max:<\/em><\/p><p>\u201cYes. When do you want to collect them?\u201d<\/p><p><em>Women, in a voice directing some of her anger at Max:<\/em><\/p><p>\u201cTomorrow. OK?\u201d<\/p><p><strong>As the couple left, still bickering, Max put the clothes into Fran, his favorite washing machine. In spite of the argument that he had just witnessed, Max could see only the positive side. <\/strong><\/p><p><em>Max, leaning on Fran, says:<\/em><\/p><p>\u201cFran! \u201cHe said that he wants to save the marriage! He is a good man. I am sure that he did everything right. Maybe she should be more tolerant?\u201d<\/p><p><strong>Fran gave the clothes her customary friendly greeting. <em>\u201cHello. How are you? My name is Fran.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><em><strong> \u201cWe are glad to be here!\u201d exclaimed the woman\u2019s panties. When our owners get angry with each other, it starts to rub off on us and we get angry with each other. It\u2019s a pity, because I really like the man\u2019s underpants.\u201d <\/strong><\/em><\/p><p><strong><em>\u201cYes\u201d<\/em>, said the underpants. <em>\u201cWe have to live with the lies, but at least we can now get rid of the stains.\u201d <\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>\u201cThis seems to be normal\u201d<\/em>, said Fran. <em>\u201cEvery day I am told stories about people lying.\u201d <\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>\u201cWait to you hear our story\u201d<\/em>, said the panties. <\/strong><\/p><p><u>Scene in an Apartment:<\/u><\/p><p><em>Women to the Man:<\/em><\/p><p>\u201cWhat! I can\u2019t believe it. How could you?\u201d<\/p><p><em>Man:<\/em><\/p><p>\u201cIt just happened! We only met and kissed. We have not yet had sex.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>They went to a marriage counsellor, but he fell in love with the counsellor.\u201d <em>\u201cOh!\u201d<\/em>, exclaimed Fran. <em>\u201cThis is the first time that I have heard a story like this. Did the counsellor fall in love with the man?\u201d<\/em> <\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>\u201cYes\u201d<\/em>, said the panties. <em>\u201cIt\u2019s a disaster!\u201d said the underpants.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>\u201cThe counsellor is a man, and if they have sex I will end up being washed with underpants instead of panties.<\/em>\u201d Fran did not know what to say. The panties and the underpants spent the remainder of the wash expressing their love for each other. They even seemed to be crying, although with so much water around it was difficult to know if there were really tears. <\/strong>\u00a0<\/p><p><u>Scene in the laundromat:<\/u><\/p><p><em>Women (who has just arrived alone):<\/em><\/p><p>\u201cNo. I am only taking my clothes. His can stay here!\u201d<\/p><p><em>Max to woman (as she paid him): <\/em><\/p><p>\u201cI think that he really loves you!\u201d<\/p><p><em>Women (initially glaring at Max, and then laughing):<\/em><\/p><p>\u201cHe hasn\u2019t yet fucked the marriage counsellor \u2013 but I did last night. Two can play the same game.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>Max was confused and said nothing, while Fran wondered whether her next wash would be an panties-underpants combo or a underpants-underpants combo.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A woman and her male companion enter Max\u2019s laundromat.
